Who We Are
Realife STEAM Academy is an early childhood program serving families with children between 6 weeks and six years old. After-school care is also offered to children in New Palestine and Greenfield Schools.
What We Do
As a ministry of Realife Church, we care for our students and staff with a Christ-centered culture. Our staff members support one another and work well as a team to provide an excellent environment for learning through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
Why We Do It
It is imperative that we share the love of Christ with each child in our care. While working at a Christian childcare and preschool program is a gratifying job, exciting, and never dull, it can also be exhausting.
Who Is The Right Fit For Our Team?
We are looking for energetic individuals who love children. Our staff members are devoted to educating young children and preparing them socially, emotionally, physically, academically, and spiritually.

Paid Education! We participate in the T.E.A.C.H. program and assist our teachers with free early childhood education. T.E.A.C.H. is a scholarship program available to individuals who work in a childcare facility and are committed to pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate), bachelor's, or master's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Paid Training! We will pay you and pay for your training! Early childhood workers are required to do approximately 20 hours of preservice training.

Small Class sizes & we stay in ratio! We follow and hold to state teacher-to-student ratios in all of our classes.

Realife STEAM follows all state guidelines for ratios and group size. Currently we have:

Two infant classes

A preschool and a pre-kindergarten class
At Realife STEAM Academy, classrooms include a lead teacher and an assistant when necessary to meet guidelines for the appropriate ratio of students to teachers. We pride ourselves on our ability to stay at or under ratio at all times.
We are in process of adding an additional class for toddlers, twos, young threes, preschool, and another pre-kindergarten class. Our hope is to have these fully operational by summer 2023.
Starting at Realife STEAM Academy and Training
While working at STEAM, teachers find they have a strong support team led by their peers and reinforced by the administration.
When you start, you will spend part of your first day learning about our program and staff, as well as start your preservice training videos. Once the preliminaries are out of the way, you will be sent to get onboarding tests which include TB, Drug, and background checks - all paid for by Realife STEAM Academy.
Your first few days include job shadowing at each level; infants, toddlers, & preschoolers, learning how to open and close a classroom, learning about the daily schedule, and getting to know more about the children and teachers at that level.
