Thank you for inquiring about Realife STEAM Academy; we are glad you found us! We are a relatively new early childhood program in the New Palestine/Greenfield area. We are located at 5151 W US HWY 40, Greenfield, Indiana, at the corner of 500 W and US 40 in the Realife Church Building.  Realife STEAM Academy is a childcare ministry of Realife Church.  We are a Level 1 Paths to Quality program and aspire to be Level 3 in the next few months. We are rated above and beyond current licensing standards and requirements with the Voluntary Certification Program, VCP, and are a Child Care and Development Fund Provider, CCDF.

Realife STEAM Academy offers exceptional childcare for children 12 months through 6 years old and school-age children who attend after school and on school breaks.  We are a bus pick-up and drop-off spot for children attending Brandywine and Sugar Creek Elementary schools. We provide after-school pick-up via our church activity bus to children who attend Weston, Greenfield Intermediate, and Harris schools.

We are open year-round from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  We close on major holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year's. We offer two healthy meals and two healthy snacks per day included with your weekly tuition. Breakfast (7:30), AM Snack (9:30), Lunch (11:30), and PM Snack (2:30).

PRESCHOOL: Realife STEAM Academy offers full-day preschool classes for children 2 ½ through 6 years old. Early Preschool is for children who are  2 ½ and are potty training (we also assist in the potty training process).  Preschool is for children three years old and already potty trained by August 1, and Pre-kindergarten is for children four years old by August 1 and fully potty trained. Realife STEAM Academy Preschool offers small classes, a developmentally appropriate curriculum rich in letter and number numeracy, and strong in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math - STEAM.  Plenty of time each day is devoted to large motor development and playtime! We have a large inside play area and gymnasium, as well as an outdoor play space that will soon be a fantastic playground! Our small class sizes allow teachers to provide individualized attention and care.  

We currently offer full-time care only.  We are open year-round and offer our literacy and STEAM curriculum from August 1 through May and a STEAM Summer Camp theme curriculum during June and July. Our Early Preschool, Preschool, and Prekindergarten classes begin at 8:00 am and end at 3:30. We offer before and after preschool care as a part of your weekly tuition. 

SCHOOL-AGE CARE: After-school care is offered to children who attend Brandywine and Sugar Creek Elementary schools in New Palestine and Harris, Greenfield Intermediate, and Weston schools in Greenfield.  We are a school drop-off spot for New Palestine Schools, and we transport children from Greenfield schools via the Realife Church activity bus. Our after-school program includes daily bible lessons & activities, snacks, and plenty of large motor activities in our gym or outside. Before-school care is also available upon request. Enrolled school-age children may also attend on school breaks, eLearning days, Snow days, and early release days. Full-day summer care is also offered for enrolled school-age children. This is a full-time, five-day-per-week program.

STEAM SUMMER CAMP: Camp sessions will be offered to enrolled children who are four years old through school age.  These sessions will each be themed differently and will offer children the opportunity to learn, explore and discover in hands-on, minds-on, feet-on-the-ground science, technology, engineering, arts, and math experiences.

WAITLISTS: Many of our classes are full and have waitlists, but we are expanding and planning to add a couple of classrooms in May. Our longer waitlists tend to be for children under 14 months old. If you would like to know where your child would be on our waitlist, email our director with your child’s birthdate. If the spot on the waitlist is agreeable, we will gladly send you the link to register. There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee.  We like to let people know this upfront.
